Why do you need a website ?
But why do you need to be online, with a website?
Today, large numbers of people use the internet to find out about their locality - identify services, products and activities they want or need. If you do not have that presence when the search engine comes looking, you could miss out on being considered.
For some people, being online can give your organisation credability, accessability and availability. So having an up to date website is a must for all organisations. Irrespective of their size and activity. It is not just for the large companies and organisations - unless you want them to have preferrence over you.
Are you a smaller / local company, providing a service or product?
How do people find you?
Do you want your potential customers going to the large companies that can be found online?
Can you offer a better level of service ?
Are you a smaller / local charity?
How do people know about you and your activities?
How do people donate to you?
Do you want donations to go to other, bigger charities?
Are you a local society, club or group?
How do people know about you ?
How do others with your interest get in touch and know what your group does?
Do you want people to join bigger groups, or lose their interest?
